Am I the only one you seem to have a problem with? It appears you don't have any issues talking with other people. Also, I thought this group was created for people in need of support & guidance. We live in the country, in the middle of no where, practically. Resources, support groups are all but nonexistent here. I'm doing the best that I can.

Have you tried to have a heart to heart with him? It sounds like he doesn’t think you understand him so he’s using religion in a way. Idk your relationship with him, but it sounds like you need to get emotionally closer to your son and hear him. Don’t judge him just listen and be his parent.

Thanks for replying, we've had so many heart to heart conversations. He knows I love him unconditionally. He knows I'd lay down my life for him. He'll tell you, I'm the only one, besides his late grandmother, who has stood by his side. Idk how I can get any closer but I still try. I try every day to connect with him in some way. I cook his favorite meals, try to get him to watch TV, music in the car. He's not interested.
