6 year old dog chewed off a growth on his paw and it’s taking over a week to heal - should i continue to treat at home with bandage, Neosporin, &wet gauze, or does he need emergency vet? (he’s so scared of going to the vet alone because of covid protocols- want to avoid traumatizing him if possible)

Monstera stem - brown spots. I searched through other monstera posts and couldn’t find anything similar- can anyone help? This poor guy has made it through fungus gnats and spider mites- I’ve worked too hard to let him die now!!

After having this plant for 3 months and keeping him well-watered in a nice, sunny, humid room- he finally starts growing new leaves!! But why do they look like this...?
