I’m applying to med, one interview, one waiting and two rejections. I hope I can pull through but I feel like anything can happen. No one in my year has gotten an offer yet. Only a third of all applicants in the country get an offer and this is with four applications. Unfortunately you are right and most take a gap year to reapply

yeah i know it’s really hard but all my vet applicant friends have got atleast one good offer except me so thats worse. All my medic friends have got really good offers too so it just rubs salt in the wound honestly. especially since i want to be a vet more than some people that have gotten in.

Could you maybe go through UCAS Extra or Clearing if you still want to go to uni this year?

yeah some unis do clearing so defs going to look at that especially since im expecting AAA this year for my advanced highers. also on the waiting list for glasgow and Edinburgh so holding out a teeny bit of hope from that.
