Is it possible that your mom had undiagnosed Bipolar disorder?? You should definitely talk to your therapist about this.. She seemed to have some kind of mental health issue.. You need to heal too.. I hope you find peace.

i definitely think she did. she was an alcoholic as well (which was the reason she died), but i definitely think she was also bipolar as well. regardless of the things she did to me, based on her behavior she very well could have had it. i know she definitely had some kind of mental health issues because her life wasn’t very positive as well.

I’m so sorry that you were grossly violated. But as someone else said. Your thoughts and feelings are VALID and it’s definitely a weird sort of imposter syndrome because admitting that it happened means it happened and not some messed up memory.
