River Stage renamed to BBC Introducing. Love the acts on this stage, but have no emotional attachment to the name or the legacy of it. so fine with it them getting rid. Fingers crossed the rebranding comes with an array of upgrades too, better equipment, staging, planning, advertising etc.

Renaming of the Boogie Bar to the Radio 1 Dance Stage - TRNSMT has very little character, culture or USP. What little it maybe has is clearly annoying the showrunners, who are trying to get rid of even that.

Something to complain about. How little of the Royal Highland Showgrounds @Ingleston was actually used for Connect Festival, and how much room there would be to expand into. There are much better options than Glasgow Green for our national music festival, even if they insist on no camping.

50 Cent announced to headline Longitude, Parklife and a solo show at Tottenham. Surely a blow to TRNSMT, looked for a while it might be a UK exclusive, but not even nearly.
