Esh. The ex is the AH, but my heart breaks for that boy because he will not understand why his Dad isn't buying him things equal to his sister. I can see withdrawing any financial support given to the ex, but if you're buying school clothes for his sister and not him, he is going to notice and be devastated

He hasn't stopped buying things for the boy- yet? At least not things he needs for over here. I honestly can't tell you what he'll do long term. New school year is at least some time off so... I have a little wiggle room to figure out how to keep this civil. I doubt he'll be buying him new clothes, though. At least not how we have been. Maybe a few outfits but this last school year we spent... God probably just over $350 on clothes for them both.
