In the Matrix (1999) Neo is offered a blue pill which leads to waking up and working at the office and a red pill which leads to “Wonderland”. He takes the red pill, which is a reference to the fact he would rather take drugs from strangers than go to work tomorrow, which the viewer can relate to.
