I’m not sure if this has been confirmed, but I’ve always had this headcanon that the reason why Sebastian freaks out when you use the flash beacon is due to PTSD of getting experimented on. Like the light could be a surgical light shone on him during experimentation! Sorry if that doesn’t make sense
