I'm getting better at casting copies of my own sculptures in silicone molds - it means I can make more pieces and spend more time painting and decorating, which is my favorite part!!

I've been learning to make molds of my sculptures so I can plaster cast a basic body that I then alter and embellish into a fab fat fae. This is one of my first attempts. I had planned to show the mold-making process, but I had silicone leaking everywhere, and it was too embarrassing to photograph!

I’m back to show the first fat fae piece I’ve ever created by casting in a silicone mold I made from an original sculpture of mine. Itwas a long, challenging process, but so satisfying!

Anyone know where I could sell this antique Chinese teakwood dining set? Puzzle not included 😆. At 7 foot 2 long with 8 chairs, it’s too big for my post-divorce house. Time to let it go! 😢

My biggest fat fae sculpture yet! It’s not really that big- about 8 inches tall and five inches wide- but it’s still exciting!

My last attempt at posting new art somehow failed, and I haven’t had time to try again until now . Art has become essential for me to get through my days and I am so very grateful that I have it to make life better.

I hate how every mascara these days includes fibers or tubes that end up driving me crazy because I can feel those little bits. Anyone have any basic, soft, smooth, mascara recommendations?

St. Francis ER is sadly understaffed and I feel bad for everyone here, including the overworked employees. Did we choose the wrong emergency room when the ambulance asked where, or are all Columbus ERs like this?

Finger cots from Amazon- my constant nail and cuticle chewing and skin picking has created some painful throbbing fingertips for me on many occasions. I started using finger cots so I physically could not get to my fingertips. I can even wear them while typing! 💖✨
