I don’t get wanting a DNA match. I adopted two and they were mine instantly. I had to fly to pick them up so my husband met them at the airport. He got down o he’s knees to talk to them eye to eye and he said he fell in love instantly, too. Still in love with them 35 years later.

NTA, his logic is weird. For him, the baby would be adopted either way, and yes, adoption/embryo adoption is a more expensive option, not to mention embryo adoption actually puts your body at more risk as there is hormonal treatment involved to make sure your body doesn't reject a "foreign" embryo. This whole "it is your baby, not mine" is concerning as well, how does he expect to be a father? What makes him accept a child as his?
