Pegboard or French cleat?

Wondering everyone’s opinion on vertical storage solutions. I have a small shop I’m trying to make the most out of and currently have an abundance of pegboard floating around. I’ve heard all the hubbub about French Cleats being the new hotness, want to know everyone’s opinion on what they prefer and why before I commit to either system.
