Why Is Asaram Bapu's YouTube Channel Still Active Despite His Conviction?
I recently came across the case of Asaram Bapu, a so-called saint from India who was arrested and convicted in a minor girl's rape case. What shocks me even more is that his YouTube channel is still running as if nothing happened.
It makes me question the system we live in. If an ordinary person shares their point of view online, they risk getting permanently banned or even receiving a notice at their home. But here we have someone convicted of such a serious crime, and their online platform is untouched.
I just can't understand—Is the law blind in this country? Or are people just okay with this kind of double standard?
