How to break into mythics?

Hey yall. I've got 5 80s now all at around 605 ilvl. Every time I join or make a group for 0s to learn them, I can not find anyone who interrupts, knows the dungeon at all, or communicate. I used to run 10s in BFA, all roles. I see people running high keys and I'm stuck down here irritated because it seems impossible to get out of the swamp of M0. Do I just study videos for days, or jump into higher keys with no io score? Any advice welcome.
