Workout help needed

So I am 31M, 5ft9 and have a bit of a dad bod but not fat. I have all my life been skinny due to been a very fussy eater, as I entered my latter teenage years and early 20s with working and football I got myself in to decent shape. I did heavy lifting at work so my arms were decent size for my height/weight, I never had a 6 pack or pecs ever but it was in shape enough that my now wife found me very attractive whenever I took my top off at home etc.

However I’ve let myself go over the years with busy with kids, more office job, no more football due to major injury. I eat fairly shit as I’m a fussy eater and I just never have the motivation to work out at all.

Now I don’t want to go to the gym, I don’t want to get ‘jacked’ or huge, I just want to get back to a decent shape but struggling to find what to do at home with the very little motivation I have.

Is it possible to lose weight by just doing our bike machine for X amount a times a night for example? Or do I need to add anything else in there to compliment?

Any advice for low energy and bad eaters for just losing that bit of weight and getting in to a respectable shape?
