I can’t close my mouth

For some reason, one of my wisdom teeth are coming out. And I’m only 14 which made the doctor in shock. Also please mind my grammar, my head hurts. Anyways I just came home from the surgery and went to bed. The anesthesia had just worn off and I feel like my jaw and back tooth area hurts. (You know what I mean) and for some reason, I can’t fully close my mouth on the left side (side of wisdom tooth area) is this normal? Whenever I try to close it I feel like there’s some type of gum preventing me to close it.
