Now I'm miffed

Over the years I've spent over $200 on high quality shave soaps from all the major brands. And today I had a wild idea, why not just use a regular bar of soap and see what happens.

I just took it, wetted it and then rubbed it all over my face and then shaved it off and surprisingly? It worked REALLY well, plus my face feels way more hydrated after just soap than any of my other shaving soaps + an aftershave balm. I did no prep work like a pre shave oil or anything and it worked wayyyy better than I was expecting. I like the scents more from real shave soap, but there was no setup or making a lather or anything. Was a real quick and dirty shave. I'll definitely be trying this more when I just don't have the time to fully setup my kit and do a real shave
