Should I get into using straight razors?

I work for a company that requires me to have a clean shave every day, and I've been using a safety razor for years, but am annoyed at how often I cut myself. Will straight razors make my life easier? The closeness of the cut doesn't matter that much to me, just ease of shave and less accidents.
