Wedding Wednesday

I see so many posts here on a daily basis about brides who are frustrated that their fiancés don’t care about wedding planning. Like many in the sub, I’m doing a majority of the planning (I care way more and have the time for it) and while my fiancé doesn’t have a ton of interest in a lot of it, I still want his involvement and input. To do that, I’ve started Wedding Wednesdays, where we sit down for half an hour (an hour max) after dinner on Wednesdays to discuss wedding things. We’ve done things like going over our guest list, picking out vendors, looking at colors, finalizing the save the date design, curating playlists, and putting stuff on the registry. It’s such a low effort way of getting him involved and it doesn’t feel like pulling teeth. I know it’s simple and nothing groundbreaking, but it’s been a great way to get him involved and hopefully can be a way for frustrated brides to get their fiancés involved in wedding planning!
