How does IT and BCIS compare to each other when looking for a career in Networks?

I’m looking to avoid heavy math like required in CS but I also hear that IT is coding heavy which K don’t really enjoy. Can anyone fill me in on how these degree paths look like? I saw that BCIS is a lot less code and math heavy but I would like to take sole classes that focus on Networks. Thanks
