Aussie volunteer who lost a leg needs emergency housing for two weeks while the next steps for his care get sorted. See inside for how to help.

I'm standing in for u/tallalittlebit on this one.

I need to preface the request with this: We are not looking for external offers of housing or any other kind of assistance. It was a case of too many cooks that created this situation in the first place.

An Australian volunteer who lost his leg last month needs emergency housing in Kyiv while his future care gets sorted out. They've found him a rate of $500 for a wheelchair-accessible stay for 14 days.

Protect A Volunteer is accepting donations toward the cost of his stay here: https://givebutter.com/sock_it_russia

Thanks, r/Ukraine.
