Are attractive people really the bad guys?
I see a lot of post on this sub of people hating on attractive and average people because they don’t acknowledge that they have easier life and are shallow, but let’s be honest, would all of you really behave differently if you were in their shoes?
- Would you really date someone way below average even when you have plenty of other options?
- Would you really downplay all your life achievements in the name of looks?
- Or wouldn’t you just prefer to live a happy life believing that everybody has the same opportunity?
Let’s even say that tomorrow magically they acknowledge, it wouldn’t really change much, the way you see an unattractive person is not something you can really turn off, it’s something we have in our DNA from the moment we are born, not everyone is able to overcome it and the proof is that most ugly people wouldn’t even date others uglies
I feel like most of us don’t really hate lookism because it gives unfair advantage to some, but rather because we can’t have those advantages ourselves, pretty much like all those people that hate the rich, but if offered 10 million, they would would accept it without hesitation
To be clear, I’m not trying to defend those that mistreat and bully ugly people, those are just shitty people and shouldn’t even be considered as part of the conversation, but I’m talking about all the others because some of you really seems to blame it on everyone else rather than on our own unluck
