Epiduo/Tactupump vs Tretinoin Micro

I’ve been posting so much in this subreddit lately, and every time you folks have been super helpful so I’m back again with another question.

I’ve been on Tretinoin micro 0.04% for the last 4 months. Today I went to see my doctor, and she said my skin had gotten significantly worse since my last visit a few months prior (I agree with her, but also it seems like that’s to be expected with Tret).

She says 4 months in I should be seeing some positive changes from Tretinoin. She recommended that I change from Tretinoin to Epiduo/Tactupump. What would you folks recommend? I have a dermatologist but his only solution seems to be accutane (which I’ve already done two rounds of). 😒

Routine:

PM: - Hada Labo Cleansing Oil - Cetaphil Cream to Foam Cleanser - Tretinoin (every second night) - La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baumé (around eyes/nose/mouth) - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream (I was using the Eucerin Urea cream but someone said that could be too much while I’m on Tret).

AM: - Cetaphil Cream to Foam Cleanser - Beauty of Joseon Rice and Probiotic Sunscreen - No face makeup

Also, I am not experiencing any burning, itching or peeling, so I don’t think my skin barrier is damaged. It was in the beginning, so I know what that feels like.
