How easy is it to move around Asia?

I have done a lot of solo traveling, mostly to Europe, US, Canada and Mexico. I really want to visit several countries in Asia, but I'm nervous about transportation. Europe is so easy, because trains, busses, and taxi/uber are everywhere. For a 3 or 4 week trip to Cambodia, Vietnam, etc, how easy is it to move from place to place? Thanks!
