Frodo destroyed the Ring. Not Eru.

It is amazing how many people online claim the Ring was only destroyed due to Eru's fat comedy foot causing a hilarious Gollum pratfall. That Eru! Such a Deus Ex Comedia! Eru made himself a PC in his own RPG world! What a sad DM that Eru was. But then, it might just be movie people saying that, since the movie omitted Frodo's oath.

(A) Here is the evidence that Frodo found a way to succeed in his impossible task:

Elrond: "I think that this task is appointed for you, Frodo; and that if you do not find a way, no one will."

Gollum: "We will swear to do what he wants, yes, yess,’...‘Sméagol will swear on the Precious."

Frodo: "On the Precious? How dare you? Think!... Would you commit your promise to that, Sméagol? It will hold you. But it is more treacherous than you are. It may twist your words. Beware!’"

Gollum: "On the Precious, on the Precious!"

Frodo: "In the last need, Sméagol, I should put on the Precious; and the Precious mastered you long ago. If I, wearing it, were to command you, you would obey, even if it were to leap from a precipice or to cast yourself into the fire. And such would be my command."

Frodo: "Begone and trouble me no more. If you touch me ever again you shall be cast yourself into the fire of doom"

... which Gollum obediently did due to his oath and the way Middle-earth enforces oaths. It was Frodo who found a way to use the oath to succeed. It was Frodo who destroyed the Ring.

(B) Here is the Evidence that Eru's fat comedy foot tripped Gollum:
People who believe Tolkien is a crappy writer dependent on Deus Ex Machina: "Nah, bruh. All that stuff is coincidence."
