Moms of girls - how are you doing their hair AND not having them rip it out 5 mins later??

Please share you secrets. 22m old who asks for ponytails and bows, just to rip them out 5 seconds later and tries to eat the hair tie or bow but also it’s sooo darn cute, what am I missing to get her to leave her hair alone?? Haha 🤣 what’s the secret??
