WT Rank Is Indicative Of Skill

Somewhat unpopular opinion, but I think WT rank is representative of a players skill and WT requires more strict matchmaking.

Considering that the season has been out for once month now, anyone who has hit Emerald already (1800 points) would have had to get 60 points per day, every day, since release. Base on my experience, I would estimate this takes between 2-4 hours per day if you win fairly often.

I consider myself slightly above average player (WT - G3) and am suprised how many of my lobbies are filled with Diamond/Emerald players. Embark made a blog post on September 24, that the majority of the player base plays for 2-3 hours per week, assuming this “average” player only plays WT that would put them around Silver.

Curious what other players have been experiencing and if they think a team comprised of Silver-Plat can compete with Diamond/Emerald players?
