Democrats deserve this.

They created the Trump problem because they are so ignorant and out of touch.

For example:

• 2016: A clear wave of populism is brewing, especially with Trump entering the scene. During the Democratic runoffs, Bernie is clearly winning over the electorate. So what happens? His election gets snubbed by shenanigans inside the party (see DNC emails leaks). Trump then targets the so-called 'silent majority,' clowns on Hillary, and wins massively.
• 2024: Biden underperforms in the debate, and things are collapsing. Instead of running a primary and letting the people decide, they once again think they're above the electorate and put up Kamala. Keep in mind, in previous debates, she was the first to drop out and received the least amount of votes.
• 2025: Trump is back in office. The only two people seriously and vocally opposing him are Chris Murphy and once again, Bernie Sanders. Bernie is the only one generating millions of views on YouTube and Twitter, while the rest of the Democratic Party either stays silent, still plays identity politics or tweets to a mere 10k followers.

It’s time to face the facts: the current state of the Democratic Party is finished. They are out of touch, incapable of fighting populism, and keep making the most obviously stupid mistakes. They had 3 big opportunities to rise to the challenge. They either failed or undermined themselves.
