MOD (UPDATE) RELEASE: 1924: The Silent Decade (v2) + New 2024: Divided States Info
First off, thank you all who purchased the Games for Watermelon bundle! We raised enough money early on that Itch.Io noticed us and put the bundle on the front page. Altogether, $4,110 was raised for Hala and Fatima - over 800% of the original goal! That's incredible!
In any case, with the bundle's sale now over, it's time to release this update to the public! 1924 has now been updated to include all the content from the bundle, along with a few other, minor additions.
1924: The Silent Decade v2 (Coolidge+) Changelog
- Added several new opponents to Coolidge's side, including former Vice President Thomas Marshall
- Unlocked through various means - the variables involved can be viewed in the "Cabinet" function. Hope this helps with the hunting!

2024: Divided States of America - Status Update
Since making the call for new writers, development has been coming along steadily. I don't have a set release date, and you won't know until it's practically completed. But I do have high hopes with the speed at which things have picked up.

I've periodically posted screenshots and maps on the TCT Discord and Twitter, and many people have begun to notice two buttons next to Continue and Latest Polls/Electoral Maps. "Huh? What? Two buttons?!" you begin to ask yourself. Not to worry, they aren't scary at all! Let me explain each of them!

State of the Union
That doesn't look like a productive use of space. Maybe I should center that bottom row?
The State of the Union is sort of like a variable tracker - except, you aren't tracking numbers or data, you're tracking people - or, more specifically, who is who.
With a mod as dynamic as this one, certain roles are changed up as the mod goes along - the Speaker's gavel may change at a moment's notice, the internal threats you face may vary based on your campaign, and yes - the Republican nomination can also change depending upon your actions. This feature is especially useful in tracking who is leading in that front in... certain circumstances. You'll see.
Campaign Data
This is the Biden-Harris Record... maybe that explains a lot.
A modification of my "Variable Headquarters" will also be present. There are a lot of advantages gained by having certain variables high enough, like most mods. Variables will be shared across both Biden and Harris' candidacies.
Other Candidates? How?
I can't tell you that - you'll have to play the mod yourself! All candidates can be faced off against as both Biden and Harris, with some very interesting choices.
Just make sure to be careful though - you don't want anyone panicking.
