Managed to achieve 100% completion on Spongebob: 2008!
Goes to show how much I love this mod, it's essentially the perfect combination of absurdist and dark humor. Not to mention it's also made in memory of an amazing person, Stephen Hillenburg, which is a bonus in of its own in my book.
Honestly it's one of my favourite mods of all time, and I'm the type of guy who says "i don't have a favourite, i like them all equally" but I just feel this unusual attachment to it, i know that sounds weird but there's no other way to describe it.
I'm pretty sure Diamondy intentionally made it that you can unlock every achievement below Normal, normally you have to play on Normal difficulty or higher to get an achievement on a mod but as you can guess that isn't the case for this.
There were two specific achievements that I tried to unlock on Easy difficulty because i didn't want it to be TOO easy, those were "Gary, Come Home!" and "We're gonna be smokin' that Zaza tonight!" and if you don't remember or don't know, the first one unlocks after you win the election while having Gary as your running mate as Spongebob, and the other unlocks after you win while having SpongeBong as your running mate as Squidward.
I managed to get the first one (barely) but I struggled with the second one because every playthough ended in a deadlock so, eventually I said "Fuck it" and played while on Cakewalk difficulty, and I unlocked it.
Overall, i have never ending love for this mod and will continue to play it over and over again. Yeah, that's enough professing love for today, i think you all get the message.
