Comedy and acting and performing arts scene in Tel Aviv

Hi there,

I am contemplating a move to Tel Aviv from New York City. I am an actor and comedian, who only speaks English. I’d be moving here to live with a loved one.

is there much of a comedy scene in Tel Aviv? Are there open mics? Are the comedy shows?

Is there any kind of acting industry in Tel Aviv?

Lastly, if my Hebrew is only very basic, and I would need to rely on English, how far would I be able to manage?
