Advice about rehoming burrowing species
Hello! I have a young A. Seemanni who has built a pretty extensive burrowing system in her enclosure. However, I think it’s time I rehouse her because 1. there has been some white mold growth in her burrow (see images 3,4), and 2. she has molted twice and grown a bit and I feel she’s getting a bit big for the enclosure. I am nervous to rehouse her because she is very skittish and immediately goes in her burrow when I’m around, I have no idea how to go about getting her out to clean the enclosure and rehouse her. Do I get a new/temporary enclosure ready and try to dig her out? Do I try to coax her out? Any advice or experience is appreciated!
