Good places for a woman to grab drinks alone?

Hi all,

So my partner is going out drinking with some work colleagues next Friday and I (26F) am looking for somewhere on Sydney south side where I can go out and grab some drinks alone since we only moved here recently and I have been doing pretty much everything solo (hard to make friends as an adult in a new city).

Preferably somewhere south of the opera house (although I could be open to catching a ferry from circular quay). Something with a nice view, safe vibes, reasonably priced drinks, not so much of a club scene since I’m not looking to get picked up.

Somewhere I can sit down alone, have a drink, and not be too bothered by others (happy to observe drunk people just don’t want men constantly approaching me). Also not a huge fan of crowds, but I’m aware that may be unavoidable considering the date and location. I’m also really down for eclectic/alternative vibes.

Edit: Also down to grab drinks and go set up in a park or something but not sure if this is legal or safe!
