Frustrated keep hitting front edge, almost about to quit.
Just like everyone else I have put my body through the pain and really taken some tough falls. I am beginning to think I have to quit to preserve myself.
I keep catching the front edge and can’t seem to comprehend how to make turns. All I can do when coming down a steep hill is the leaf and hope I don’t catch an edge.
I have tried toe side but quickly lose balance and control. I believe it has something to do with my stance but I don’t know enough about snowboarding to fully comprehend what I am doing wrong.
I have watched tons of YouTube videos to try to figure out how to turn and slow myself out but once I get up on the mountain/hill I eventually catch an edge.
Yesterday I hit a front edge so hard I frankly wanted to quit with the first 45mins after spending $90.
What I am trying to ask is how can I practice my form at home and build muscle memory to not screw up on the mountain and be in pain for the next week.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks you in advance.
