Small Business Owners, when searching for a web designer, how important is it to you that they offer wordpress sites?
I'm a fellow small business owner trying to level up my web design business.
Currently, I only offer support for static sites (built on jekyll and gatsby, and hosted on netlify), and worry that I am limiting my potential client pool by doing this. It seems that most of the competition offers wordpress almost exclusively.
I'm trying to target SMBs as my clients for now, so I wanted to ask you all here: how important is it to you that your website is built in wordpress? What's your reasoning, one way or another?
Would you be okay with a managed option wherein you pay a monthly fee for the web designer to make changes?
Any insight would be helpful!
