Bf shakes and twitches like crazy in sleep

Hi, I woke up before my boyfriend for the first time in a while and noticed that he shakes and twitches, almost like he’s having a seizure, but it only lasts for 2-3 seconds. He seems to stay asleep and just has these quick, jolting movements. Anyone else dealt with this?
