What are the "essential" paints for skaven?

I've recently decided to build a skaven army, however i don't trust GW official paint lists, since they often forget to include important paints/include unnecessary ones. What would you guys say are the necessary paints for a skaven army to get them to "good to look at" level? I want to do a skryre colour scheme, so dark blue and red, and use citadel and vallejo paints.
