Are Chinese shills invading AI subreddits or are we all just disillusioned?

A few weeks ago we thought great American AI developers like OpenAI, Meta and Google were going to ethically lead the AI race..

But then they ALL bowed down to Trump, praising him and downplaying major components of Ethical AI: climate consciousness, “EDI”, public access.

Meanwhile DeepSeek is offering a free, powerful model, powered in a country that is leading the green transition.

I don’t think bots invaded our subreddits I think people just genuinely don’t want American AI to win anymore, and for good reason.
