5’6” and 5’8” are in different worlds

I’m a pretty good looking dude but at 5’6” I still have to put in a lot of work to get girls. Ordinarily when I go out at night I’ll wear some standard shoes with a 1 inch heel. I bought some 1.5 inch lifts to experiment, and wore some thick boots that gave an additional half inch over regular shoes. I walked out the door as a 5’8” man, or 5’9” with shoes.

The difference in how I was treated was literally night and day. More women would look at me and smile and overall were much more receptive to being approached. My rejection rate went down, and I didn’t have to work as hard to carry a conversation, women would actually try to keep the conversation going. They were flirtier, more giggly, and touchy. On the dance floor, girls would make eye contact and start dancing closer to me and brushing up against me. I had a gorgeous blonde talk to me at the bar and then invited me back to the table with her girlfriends. This never happened to me at 5’6”. Not a single time. It’s insane and honestly disgusting how much 2” made a difference. I talked to more women and had more success in a single night out than I would for an entire week at 5’6”.

So to all the 5’8” guys saying it’s over, I’m calling you out. It’s not over. I had a great time at that height, and if I was actually 5’8” I would be crushing it out there. I will say that I a have good sense of style and dress sharp, and am very fit so that helps a lot, but if you’re 5’8” and having issues it’s not your height that’s holding you back.
