Where does 5’8 fall?

I’m 5’8 and always confused about where this height stands. It’s not considered short, but tall people don’t see it as tall either, so just “average.”

The tallest height I’ve seen on this subreddit is 5’7, so does that make 5’8 tall here? Or is it still short overall?

I also read that the average height for men in the U.S. is 5’9, so can 5’8 even be considered average? It feels like my height has never truly had a range it fits in. Maybe I’m overthinking this
