motorcycle vs vehicle crash near Balboa Theater

On our way out of Balboa Theater tonight, we heard a loud crunch and thought it was a car accident. As we approached 37th Ave (I think that was the street)/Balboa, it was a guy on a motorcycle that had collided with a car. I believe this intersection is an all-way stop. Motorcycle on its side, guy laying on the road, several people directing traffic. Looks like the car that was involved may have stopped as there was a car with hazards on just south on 37th. The guy was moving but looked like he was in bad shape. He was laying almost next to his bike instead of having been thrown so I'm wondering if he got T-boned but I don't want to speculate. I also didn't see him wearing a helmet but it's possible someone may have removed it. Anyhow, I hope this fellow is ok. What a way to start the new year ):
