2011 116710LN with Super-Luminova? Is this possible?
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 2011 Rolex 116710LN, and something seems a bit odd. The lume on the watch glows green, which makes me think it might be Super-Luminova instead of the Chromalight (blue lume) that Rolex supposedly started using around 2008.
I’ve done some research, and from what I understand, all 116710LNs made after 2008 should feature Chromalight. Is it possible that Rolex still used Super-Luminova in certain models in 2011? Or could this be due to a dial or hand replacement at some point in the watch’s history?
The watch is definitely authentic (confirmed by the serial card and overall build), but the lume color is confusing me. Has anyone else encountered something similar?
Looking forward to your thoughts! Thanks in advance!
Let me know if you’d like to tweak any details!
