‘25 draft class & Rockets’ positional needs

I’m a draft enthusiast, and I realize not everyone is - feel free to keep scrolling if you’re not. Admittedly, it’s early for this discussion given we’re only mid-season. But trust me I’m not unfocused on the current season. I watch every game.

Anyway, there seems to be a great deal of talent in the 2025 draft class, and it looks like our Suns pick will likely be a mid-1st. There could certainly be some high quality prospects available in that range.

Assuming we make no trades, do you think we ought to draft a Big, Wing, or Guard? I’m leaning Guard, and Wing seems unrealistic given the current logjam, but curious what other fans think.

Obviously if Steven Adams resigns w/ Houston there’s no room in the rotation for a Center, but if Fred is extended for more term at less per year & Reed improves as we all hope, there may not be room in the rotation for another Guard either.

That said, it’s somewhat likely that whoever we draft will be a reserve player who might come in situationally for certain matchups, but we’ve already seen how important depth is.

A rim running Big, stretch Big, or an athletic lead Guard seems to me the best fits in my opinion. Do you agree/disagree? Are there any specific prospects you like for the Rockets?
