[Create a Gem] Asking for ideas

Hey folks, hope everyone is doing well. I'm in between jobs right now and struggling to find a new one (almost everything in South America pays 1.5k a month, and that seems pretty low to me), so since I've a lot of free time right now, I wanted to create a gem instead of another app to expand my portfolio.

Could you help me brainstorm some ideas that might be useful?

I asked my friend ChatGPT and the idea I liked the most was to create a rate limiting gem for APIs, I'll start with that, but other ideas are very welcome too!
