Any tips on calming down a puppy?

Hi guys, I have a 10 week old cavapoo puppy and he’s amazing, one of the things I struggle with is getting him to calm down while playing, whenever we try to play with him, he gets crazy and bites whatever part of you he can, he growls, and is overall very hyper. Any tips to get him to stay calm and stop biting? i’ve tried to make high pitched “Ow!” noises but they have no effect whatsoever.
