New at modding a PSP

So I follow a YouTube video showing how to mod a psp 1000 and done all the steps. The problem is whenever I tried downloading games it states it’s corrupted. I don’t know if I’m going to the wrong websites or doing it wrong. I need help because it just confusing for me.
