Smells…omg

So I had heard my sense of smell may heighten during pregnancy, but is it normal for things to smell so WEIRD? My husband was cooking broccoli and it just smelled very bizarre to me. It didn’t really smell like broccoli at all (which we all know doesn’t smell that great to begin with), it straight up smelled like a sweaty gym sock. I experienced the same thing with my body wash which is supposed to smell like lavender. It smells like dish soap to me???
