Bleeding during intercourse

Hey friends, 14+4 here I really miss having sex, my fiancée and I had sex at around 5 weeks and there wasn’t bleeding but at about 6 weeks there was and it terrified us both so we didn’t have sex till I was about 11 weeks but I made him go slow and not go in all the way (which wasn’t really great for either of us because we were so nervous and it wasn’t what we were used to) and there was no bleeding but I really miss having regular sex and my OB said we should be okay but I don’t know if we should just refrain anyway to be safe or what to do? I know we would both be heartbroken if anything happened after having sex, he says he’s okay with waiting till after I give birth but I know he misses having sex and I also do so I wasn’t sure if anybody had any tips or recommendations or similarities?
