What Pokemon skills would be totally OP if they were usable in other RPGs?
For fun, I've been thinking about how the Pokemon scale, gameplay-wise, to other turn-based RPG characters. Honestly, a lot of Pokemon attacks would suck in other RPGs (I know realistically they'd be rebalanced in a crossover but for fun, I'm imagining them directly ported as is) due to their comparably low BP (they barely reach 100, other RPG spells casually deal 500 to the thousands in damage), the recoil in anything with a BP over 110, few of them hit multiple enemies and the ones that do usually hit your allies as well and do less damage when hitting multiple enemies. Even their healing skills are pretty meh as none can restore full hp (at least, not without sacrificing themselves too). This isn't meant to be a complaint. Obviously they can't be too incredibly strong since this is supposed to be a multiplayer-friendly battle system.
So I've thought "what would be useful in other RPGs?" and I'm posting this thread in case anyone else wants to join in too. I'm considering everything, from moves, abilities, to items.
I think Pokemon's status moves are particularly powerful in comparison to other RPG skills. Destiny Bond comes to mind. If this skill could be used other RPGs, any fight against a single, powerful, foe could be anticlimactically finished off in an instant. Here's a fun fact for those who don't play these games, this move's effect was changed in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (which are purely player vs enemy games) to simply make it so any damage you receive, the target receives that same damage too. For a few turns.
