Leaving the country with unpaid credit debt

My sister is planning to leave the country and go to canada, for good. I just found out that her credit limit is already maxed, worth of 150k. Her spouse is also having trouble with a different bank and noticing their landline phone is always hanged up by avoiding the bank calls. I asked her just one time what’s her plan on her credit, she joked “tatakasan ko lang yan”.

I need a legal advise or facts what are the consequences when she does plan by not paying her credit cards. Does it affects me? Our family property? (not under her name). Does it affect her children in the future?

Sorry for being nosey, because I just declined a favor hers by using my Credit card to pay her full tuition in Canada worth 80k+ so she can have the certificate of acceptance (not sure of the document) which is a requirement for her trip; and she claims she has the cash to pay me after the transaction.
