Additional Details
- Profile Update: On January 4, my profile was updated under current status, but nothing appeared when I opened it. After researching online, I found out this happens when an officer is actively reviewing your application.
- Correspondence Letter: Received the first correspondence letter on January 6. On January 7, my portal displayed approved, but the validity of my permit officially started on January 6.
- Physical Document: I am currently waiting for the physical document to arrive.
- Document Uploads: Initially, I uploaded unofficial transcripts and a graduation certificate. However, I forgot to include one passport page. In the first few days of November, I uploaded the missing passport page, along with my official transcript and diploma, to strengthen my application.
- Notifications: I didn’t receive any email notifications about the approval. I found out by checking the portal directly.
Advice for Future Applicants
- Stay positive and patient if you’re still waiting for your decision.
- For those yet to apply, be very careful when completing the application. Don’t give the officers any reason to reject your submission, they’re being super picky; even about minor errors, and might not consider corrections sent through webforms.
